About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Communications Senior Manager reporting to the head of Business Communications for Global Operations. This leader is responsible for managing and developing a team of Business Communications Consultants, whose work also supports vertical relationship leads aligned to the business. The manager ensures their effective planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of communications initiatives with moderate to high visibility across the organization. Success in this role depends on strategic vision, operational excellence, and people leadership, all focused on the employee experience.

In this role, you will:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Business Communications Consultants, whose responsibilities include supporting vertical relationship leads aligned to the business. Foster a culture of continuous learning and talent development, aligning individual growth with internal communication objectives and the company's strategic vision.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with internal clients, vertical relationship leads, and key stakeholders. Collaborate to develop, coordinate, and direct strategic internal communications that effectively support and advance business priorities for employees.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each internal communications channel, rigorously measuring and analyzing campaign outcomes to inform recommendations for future programs and initiatives.
- In close coordination with vertical leaders, support the team in their design and execute data-informed internal communications campaigns targeting specific employee audiences. Place disciplined emphasis on campaign performance, leveraging insights to optimize internal engagement and outcomes.
- Establish necessary discipline around research and understanding of key business challenges, employee behaviors, target audiences, and environmental factors that impact internal communications strategies.
- Oversee the allocation of people and financial resources for the Internal Communications team, maximizing operational efficiency and impact.
- 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years Management or leadership experience
- 3+ years Communications experience
- Effective team management and mentorship
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Analytical thinking and results orientation
- Strong people and collaborative skills.
- Strong business acumen
- Innovation and adaptability
- Possesses a sense of urgency; is initiative-taking and detail minded.
- Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues.
- Working knowledge of current trends in digital, web content management systems experience
