Auto Lending Change Readiness Senior Consultant

Wells Fargo Auto is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant within our Change Readiness Team to support Auto employees in managing and consuming change. This senior-level individual contributor will focus on writing and delivering internal communications, while also driving various communication initiatives and efforts. This is a hands-on role that requires close partnership across the business to understand communication goals and deliver effective messaging that aligns with policy, regulatory, and brand standards. Ability to collaborate effectively is a must, as this role is part of a small and efficient team, which relies closely on one another to ensure quality execution. The ideal candidate will have proven success in developing and continually refining messaging in the financial services or auto industry. Seeking someone with expert writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standards outlined in the Wells Fargo Writing guide. This person should be skilled at translating complex information into clear, concise, and engaging messages for internal audiences.
In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution
- Engage regularly with cross-functional stakeholders across Auto, including business, product, technology, originations and servicing teams, to gather insights and align on communication needs
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of readiness resources with cross functional business partners
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
- Collaborate with peers to create consistency in communications and processes in an agile work environment
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
- Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
- Leverage technology to develop tracking and reporting to predict employee change events for internal publication
- Develop and create internal communications which prepare leaders and employees for change events
- Identify upcoming process and technical changes that will have impact on frontline business partners
- Conduct research on change impact through employee and SME consultations
- Partner with impacted business line on communication resources needed to ensure understanding of the change
- Create and execute readiness communication resources such as notices, updates and reference guides within brand standards and style
- Ensure all communications stay within Risk and Control guidelines
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of internal communications experience, preferably in the Auto industry, with exposure to Originations, Servicing, systems, and policy frameworks
- Proven expertise in developing and executing internal communications strategies, including change management, message tailoring, and content creation for diverse audiences
- Strong background in corporate communications within financial services, with experience aligning messaging to brand standards and style guides
- Skilled in translating complex technical or process changes into clear, engaging communications in partnership with Technology teams
- Experience developing and editing compelling content, with ability to simplify the complex
- Strategic thinker with experience in integrated communication planning, process improvement, and execution
- Project management experience with a strong understanding of product management frameworks and Agile methodologies
- Highly refined verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work seamlessly in team environments and consult effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners
- Proficient in tools such as Jira, Microsoft 365, WikiD, and SharePoint
