Overview
Job Summary: Responsible for leading HR generalist activities across multiple regions outside the USA, including EMEA, APAC, China, and LATAM. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of HR, compliance, and regulatory practices around the globe. This role requires a visionary leader who can ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, regional, and international regulations, support talent acquisition and management processes, lead change management efforts, manage escalated employee concerns, oversee field HR administration, direct benefits management, and serve as the point of contact for HR-related matters in mergers and acquisitions.

- General HR Activities:
- Lead and manage HR teams in EMEA, APAC, China, and LATAM to ensure effective and efficient HR activities.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, regional, and international regulations.
- Stay updated on global compliance and regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
- Talent Management:
- Support talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee talent management and development activities to foster employee growth and career progression.
- Implement succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives across multiple regions to drive organizational transformation.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.
- Works council strategy and management
- Employee Relations:
- Manage escalated employee concerns and conflicts with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective employee relations practices.
- HR Administration:
- Oversee the management of HR records, documentation, and inquiries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Implement efficient HR administrative processes and systems.
- Benefits Management:
- Direct the management of country-specific employee-facing benefit administration, including benefit plan selection and renewals.
- Ensure benefits programs are competitive and aligned with employee needs.
- M&A Activities:
- Serve as the point of contact for HR-related matters in mergers and acquisitions.
- Provide HR expertise and support during M&A processes to ensure successful integration.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on global HR generalist activities
- Proven experience in managing HR teams across multiple regions.
- Strong knowledge of global compliance and regulatory practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage change and lead change management initiatives.
- Experience in talent acquisition and management.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with HR administration and benefits management.
- Experience in M&A activities is a plus.
