Job Description

The Sr Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and visualize data from various sources to help the Empower business make data-driven decisions. This individual will play a key role in shaping the narrative behind the numbers through fact-based storytelling and will be instrumental in bringing commercial effectiveness to our teams and holding leaders accountable to key performance indicators. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in Excel modeling, Power BI, and Salesforce, and has a proven ability to connect and synthesize data from multiple streams resulting in business impact. Experience in SaaS and subscription commercial analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain advanced Excel models to support business analysis and decision-making.
  • Develop and manage interactive score cards, dashboards, and reports using Power BI. Reduce manual intervention by at least 50%. a 100% adoption rate of tools among commercial stakeholders within 6 months.
  • Analyze and report on key SaaS metrics, such as customer acquisition cost, churn rate, and monthly recurring revenue
  • Interpret data to uncover actionable insights and emerging trends, enabling targeted strategies such as identifying ideal customer segments,
  • Assemble data from multiple sources into easy-to-digest formats such as dashboards, scorecards, and presentations to meet partners' needs—these may include weekly KPIs, sales reporting, and incentive summaries.
  • Connect and integrate data from Salesforce, SAP, and other internal systems to create unified, delivering at least 3 actionable insights per month.
  • Interpret data using trend and correlation analysis, provide context for findings, highlight variables, and offer insights into anomalies.
  • Drive Salesforce (Compass) adoption through reporting and team enablement; serve as the SME on Compass for the Empower software business Unit.
  • Generate and distribute routine and ad-hoc reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data insights.
  • Accelerate deal preparation for growth deal review (at least 4 deals a week)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience collecting and analyzing data from disparate sources and delivering actionable insights.
  • Management consulting experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and model design.
  • Experience in SaaS and subscriptions preferred.
  • Strong experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Experience integrating and managing data from multiple systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Excel).
  • Familiarity with SAP Analysis for Office and Salesforce Service Lightning is a plus.
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
