Overview
The Service Sales Director will be responsible for formulating service market strategies and driving the promotion of service products. Focus on customer categorization, pricing strategy, contract promotion, organization capability building and cross-functional collaboration. Innovate service solutions and collaborate efficiently with teams to achieve business growth targets while ensuring full compliance with Waters' requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the service business model to align with the company's overall strategy. Formulate market promotion strategies for service business to penetrate and grow in target markets
- Develop market promotion plans for all service products, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and service policies. Design and optimize the pricing system to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Gain in-depth understanding of market demands and develop innovative service solutions, including service models and products. Analyze competitors' differentiators and formulate competitive advantages
- Collaborate closely with Instrument Sales, Marketing, Field Service, and other departments to ensure the effective implementation of service strategies
- Be responsible for achieving sales growth objectives in Mainland China through coaching, initiative development, and execution.
- Develop proactive, outbound selling initiatives aimed at taking competitive market share, promoting new products, and upselling at existing accounts.

- Deliver ongoing feedback and coaching to inside sales team leaders/managers and key account managers on all aspects of the sales process, including customer engagement, outreach volume and methodology, qualification processes, product positioning, upselling, negotiation, and closing strategies.
- Leverage internal and third-party tools to maximize selling efforts. Coach all team members to extend and expand their customer connectivity.
- Lead informatics business development and implementation team, partner with instrument sales and application teams to drive informatics and APS revenues.
- Organize and lead regular training and staff meetings to motivate and maximize productivity while fostering teamwork.
Qualifications
Key Experiences:
- Minimum qualification required is a bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
- Minimum of 7+ years professional/technical selling experience, and 5+ years direct management experience.
- Experience within the scientific instrument or medical device industry preferred.
- Experience with Service portfolio related to our markets preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to understand, distill and reinforce product messaging and business process details to colleagues and team members.
