Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in the Life Sciences or Analytical market in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in sales, possess excellent analytical and strategic skills, and demonstrate leadership capabilities to develop and manage a high-performing sales team. This role requires extensive fieldwork, with 60% of the time spent with customers, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Mexico sales team to achieve and exceed annual & quarterly sales targets, and develop & maintain a healthy order pipeline
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in the Life Sciences market.
  • Conduct regular field visits to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions.
  • Develop & execute large account management plans both to defend and capture new large customers
  • Optimize utilization of Sales Force to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Work with sales team to prospect new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of new potential clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as Sales Manager, preferably in the Life Sciences or Analytical market in Mexico.
  • Proficiency in Sales Force and other CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills and the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in developing and managing a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (60% fieldwork).

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Chemistry, Engineer or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
