Pricing Manager

Pricing Manager to support the Americas Commercial and Finance Organizations.

The pricing function, which is part of the FP&A team, is primarily responsible for pricing strategy, analytics, measurement, value pricing, governance & pricing execution across the organization.

This position reports directly to the Sr Director of Finance for the Americas, and indirectly to the Director of Pricing at corporate headquarters.



  • Review, analyze, manipulate, and manage multiple data sources for all pricing analytics.
  • Develop foundational analytics comprising of pricing scorecard, price realization, stick rate, YOY revenue/margin bridge and profitability at regional levels with the ability to drill down to granular levels for all countries & product lines.
  • Utilize aforementioned analytics, competitive intelligence and understanding of foreign exchange dynamics to develop list price recommendations specific to countries and product categories.
  • Build deal models to optimize revenue, margin and pricing at account and/or product level
  • Develop pricing mentorship/corridors (hard floor, target, stretch price) for specific products lines and regions
  • Perform discount control analytics (peer group analytics) and identify areas of opportunity to reduce discount and improve margin.
  • Perform analytics for new products pricing including peer pricing, encouraged discount, competitive discount and pricing strategy (penetrate/neutral/skim).
  • Provide subject matter expertise on pricing strategy and executions, working closely with business partners within Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Marketing
  • Lead sophisticated pricing analytics and empower business partners to make data driven pricing choices; build and improve all kinds of pricing tools, models, and dashboards
  • Conduct market-based pricing activities such as price elasticity of demand, customer segmentation, and competitor analysis
  • Support the commercial promotions process, working closely with key stakeholders to design competitive promotions and facilitate leadership approval, implementation, and tracking of efficiency
  • Lead pricing reporting and performance reviews with the division and corporate leadership
  • Lead annual and ad-hoc price setting for existing and new products; Drive annual price increase process by analyzing pricing performance and aligning pricing strategies with division's overarching business objectives
  • Drive pricing discipline across commercial teams, through regular trainings, workshops, and tracking and review of behavior changes
  • Lead pricing forecast exercise, improve forecasting model and process, and drive alignment with the global finance team and business teams
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews, and other strategic pricing initiatives

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Business, Finance or related field, Master's Degree Preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in pricing, finance, statistics, data analytics or related field
  • Experience in handling large data sets & data consolidation tools like Microsoft Access, Alteryx, etc.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with ability to validate, synthesize complex data sets to simplified data sets and deliver valuable business insights.
  • Ability to communicate effectively business insights derived from complex data sets to stakeholders with little or no analytics background.
  • Thorough knowledge of computerized application systems including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and preferably, SAP and BW or Analysis for Office experience
  • Experience in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI.
  • The individual must be able to work in a matrix team environment and have the communication skills and poise to do so effectively
  • A self-starter with a passion for sophisticated Data Analytics and Data Science; comfortable of handling big data and solving problems in a real and complex business environment
