Material Handler II

Overview

Waters Corporation is currently looking to hire a Material Handler to join our team. In this role you will perform a variety of warehouse duties. This includes shipping, receiving, picking factory orders for our production department, and processing returns.Experience with SAP and operating material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving deliveries
  • Picking chemicals in bottle or drums for the production department
  • Processing returns from production
  • Packing hazardous materials for transportation
  • Miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisor
  • Receiving bulk deliveries of chemicals and off loading into the chemical tanks/

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School graduate, GED or equivalent

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment

Skills:

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including the following: Forklift, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, and Step Ladder
  • Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction
  • Familiar with warehouse safety procedures
  • Sound communication skills, which includes the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to comprehend and exchange verbal and written instructions
  • Administration skill, which include the ability to organize and record data neatly and accurately by paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • SAP experience
