Overview

As a Problem Management Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving IT-related problems that impact our business operations. You will work closely with various teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolution, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Problem Identification and Analysis: Monitor IT systems and applications to identify recurring issues and trends. Coordinate with different actors the root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of problems.
  • Incident Management: Assist in managing and resolving IT incidents, ensuring that they are properly documented and tracked. Collaborate with the incident management team to minimize the impact of incidents on business operations.
  • Problem Resolution: Participate to implement action plans to resolve identified problems. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure that corrective measures are effectively executed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of problem investigations, root cause analyses, and resolution efforts. Create and update knowledge base articles to assist in future problem-solving efforts.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on problem management activities, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in problem management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and applications. Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Strong organizational skills
