Overview
The application chemist team is primarily responsible for technical support of China. As an integral part of this team, the role of this application chemist is to provide technical support for the LC and Empower postsales surports for KA accounts. Waters is actively seeking a motivated individual as our application chemist, who would work closely with the sales team to drive the pharma bussiness using the applications and technology, and help to increase the business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop the LC and Empower solution in the field of large molecular application (including Antibody, ADC, peptide, oligo, CGT and so on ) based on Waters' products (LC, MS, MALS etc), to meet KA's need in China Market.
- Provide competitive LC results of Demo experiments of large molecular applications to show our advantages of total solution for KA customers.
- Provide on-site application training and troubleshooting of large molecular applications on LC and Empower, help our customers be successful in their application field.
- Communicate and collaborate with key customers to deepen and expand our potential in large molecular application field based on our solution and instruments.
Qualifications
- Education:
§ Master's Degree, or PhD in scientific areas such as Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioscience.
- Experience:
§ 5+ years of user experience with LC and Empower.
- Skills:
§ Familiar with the workflow of LC analysis, especially the separation and characterization of antibody, ADC, peptide, oligo, CGT and so on, independently search literatures, setup LC and LC-MS experiment method, process LC and LC-MS data using corresponding software, summary result and present result to customer
§ Having rich hands-on experience of method development on separation science, experience in Waters LC and Empower platform is a plus
