ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and strategic PR & Communications professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our PR & Communications strategies, enhancing brand reputation, fostering positive relationships with external stakeholders and driving community engagement initiatives and CSR projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the planning and execution of Studio Tour Tokyo's PR & Communications' strategies
  • Lead PR activities to maximise publicity
  • Responsible for Crisis management
  • Management of external stakeholders and local community relationships
  • Agency and team management
  • Review and approve all copyrighting and external communications including press releases
  • Maintain strong relationship with media to drive constant coverage
  • Manage the planning and execution of media events


  • Collaborate with other teams of Studio Tour Tokyo to achieve business goals

JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS

Work Experience

  • Seasoned experience in public relations, marketing communications, media or journalism, or a similar field
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a successful track record in crisis management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong sense of branding
  • Experience of handling overseas media is a huge plus
  • Strong knowledge of regional media, online and social media community is a plus
  • Experience and success in leading and developing team

Skills

  • Excellent communication in Japanese, Business level or above in English
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work
  • Great working knowledge of PR concepts and best practices
  • Attention to details with punctuality
  • Able to perform in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment
  • Action and result oriented, proactive in communicating with other team members
  • Quick learner and self-starter, resourceful and would take ownership
  • Skilled in Power Point, Excel, Word
  • Flexible when work hours as at times, the role will require working during non-office hours such as evenings, Weekends and public holidays
