Your New Role...

マーチャンダイザーは、マーチャンダイジングマネージャーのもと、日本市場における商品展開、在庫管理、売上分析を担当、各チャネル(Studio Shop、Harajuku、Akasaka、Ecommerce)での商品運営の最適化を図ります。

UKチームや社内関連部門と連携しながら、商品戦略の実行を現場レベルで推進し、店舗運営に貢献するポジションです。

Your Role Accountabilities...

1. 商品展開とオペレーション支援(Merchandising Execution & Coordination)

  • マーチャンダイジングマネージャーと連携し、商品戦略に基づく国内展開商品のフォローアップ
  • 商品の導入スケジュール、SKU管理、チャネル別商品展開リストの作成・更新
  • VMDやショップスタッフと連携し、商品展開が計画通り進むようサポート
  • Buyerと連携し、商品情報、プロモーション内容の社内関係者への周知・調整
  • マーチャンダイジングマネージャーと連携し、プロモーション内容の社内関係者への周知・調整
  • UKチームとの定期的なコミュニケーションや会議への参加

2. 売上分析・在庫モニタリング(Sales & Inventory Monitoring)

  • 各チャネルの売上・在庫データの集計・レポート作成
  • トレンドや動きのあるCategory、アイテムをピックアップし、マネージャーへ報告・提案
  • 在庫リスク(欠品・過剰)の早期発見と共有
  • WHと連携し、倉庫在庫・納品状況の定期確認と共有

3. 社内外との連携(Cross-Functional Communication)

  • EC、VMD、マーケティング、OPSとの密な情報連携
  • UKチームとの情報連携サポート(必要に応じて簡易翻訳や資料準備)
  • UKチームへのPO Request サポート(必要に応じて資料準備)
  • ベンダーとの納品調整(マネージャーと連携)

4. プロモーション・イベントサポート(Promo & Launch Support)

  • Buyer、MD Manager、WHと連携し、商品ローンチ、シーズナル施策時の情報整理・準備
  • 店舗スタッフへのプロモーション施策周知・展開サポート

5. チーム運営サポート(Team Coordination)

  • チームメンバーの業務進行サポート
  • マネージャー不在時の簡易的な窓口対応
  • QC業務のサポート
  • Buyer業務のサポート
  • 業務改善提案やルーティン業務のマニュアル整備

Qualifications & Experiences...

必須スキル(Essential Skills)

  • 小売業またはメーカーでの商品企画・商品計画/管理・在庫管理のいずれかの実務経験(MD、DB業務)
  • データ分析(Excel等)や販売レポートの作成経験
  • 他部署や外部との調整・連携業務の経験
  • チームでの業務推進経験
  • Officeスキル(Excel・PowerPoint・Outlook)

歓迎スキル(Preferred Skills)

  • アパレル、雑貨、食品などのリテール業界での経験
  • EC運営業務の経験

Merchandiser

Division:Merchandising, Retail

Report to : Merchandising Manager, Japan

The Merchandisiser, under the Merchandising Manager, is responsible for product development, inventory management, and sales analysis in the Japanese market, and works to optimize product operations in each channel (Studio Shop, Harajuku, Akasaka, Ecommerce).

This position involves working with the UK team and related departments within the company to promote the implementation of product strategies at the field level and contribute to store operations.

1. Merchandising Execution & Coordination

  • Working with Merchandising manager to follow up on domestic product launches based on product strategies
  • Creating and update product launch schedules, SKU management, and channel-specific product launch lists
  • Working with VMD and shop staff to ensure that product launches proceed as planned
  • Working with buyers to communicate and coordinate product information and promotion details with internal stakeholders
  • Working with Merchandising manager to communicate and coordinate promotion details with internal stakeholders
  • Participation in meetings with the UK team regularly

2. Sales Analysis and Inventory Monitoring

  • Compiling and reporting sales and inventory data for each channel
  • Picking up on trends and movements in categories and items, and report and make proposals to managers
  • Identifying and sharing inventory risks (shortages/excess) at an early stage
  • Working with WH to regularly check and share warehouse inventory and delivery status

3. Cross-Functional Communication

  • Collecting information sharing with EC, VMD, marketing, and OPS
  • To support information sharing with the UK team (simple translation and document preparation as needed)
  • Supporting PO requests to the UK team (document preparation as needed)
  • Delivery coordination with vendors (in collaboration with managers)

4. Promotion and Event Support

  • Collaborating with buyers, MD managers, and WH to organize and prepare information for product launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Supporting the dissemination and implementation of promotional campaigns to store staff

5. Team Coordination Support

  • Supporting team members in their work
  • Providing simple customer service in the absence of managers
  • Supporting QC operations
  • Supporting buyer operations
  • Proposing business improvements and developing manuals for routine operations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Essential Skills
    • Practical experience in product planning, product management, or inventory management in the retail industry or manufacturing industry (MD, DB operations)
    • Experience in data analysis (Excel, etc.) and sales report creation
    • Experience in coordination and collaboration with other departments and external parties
    • Experience in driving business operations as part of a team
    • Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Preferred Skills
    • Experience in the retail industry (e.g., apparel, accessories, food)
    • Experience in e-commerce operations
    • Working experience in English (writing and verbal)
