Your New Role...

As a Staff Program Manager, you will drive multiple high-impact projects and processes across the company's global direct-to-consumer (D2C) commerce flows on Max and discovery+. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Client, Marketing, Growth, and Legal teams to ensure smooth execution of pricing and content packaging changes while balancing financial and customer experience considerations. You will be responsible for managing dependencies, resolving ambiguous problems, and acting as a key representative within the EMEA and APAC markets.

The Commerce Operations team operates globally within D2C Product Operations, ensuring customers receive accurate pricing and content offerings on WBD's D2C platforms.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Pricing and Offer Management:

  • Own the creation and maintenance of price plans for web/direct customers using internal platforms.
  • Lead configuration and management of mobile and Smart TV's in-app purchase (IAP) platforms, including Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Samsung, and Vizio.

Project Execution:

  • Drive commerce operations initiatives such as market expansions, price campaigns and updates.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for commerce-related projects and programs.

Operational Support:

  • Troubleshoot commerce-related issues in collaboration with Engineering, Product and Customer Support teams.
  • Implement best practices to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency across all commerce workflows.
  • Make trade-offs between schedule, resources, and scope for program and project delivery.

Influence & Communication:

  • Act as a representative for the Commerce Operations team, communicating business objectives effectively with stakeholders.
  • Leverage influencing and negotiation skills to drive alignment across teams and partners.
  • Provide clear and concise program updates and advocate for stakeholders' goals.

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and execute the vision for key commerce operations projects and programs.
  • Contribute to defining the broader team vision and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in the training and development of team members and contribute to recruiting efforts.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Strong operational experience in D2C commerce, streaming services, or similar industries.
  • Experience with enterprise-level content management systems (CMS) and commerce platforms.
  • Experience working with digital platforms, subscription-based services, and in-app purchase configurations for all major 3rd party platforms.
  • Strong program management skills with a proven ability to drive multiple high-impact projects.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems, make well-judged decisions, and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset, ensuring high-quality execution of commerce operations workstreams.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
