Your New Role

The Senior Hardware Asset Management Analyst is a member of the Hardware Asset Management team. This position has three primary areas of responsibility for WBD: (1) Asset Identification and Tracking (2) Asset Lifecycle Management and (3) Key Process Area Ownership. This role requires extensive knowledge of IT, broadcast, production, and network hardware.

This position frequently requires operating in live broadcast, live studio production, and live signal supply chain areas where previous experience operating in sensitive media environments is necessary.

Your Role Accountabilities

Asset Identification and Tracking

  • Responsible for global order logistics, order reconciliation of all classes of technology assets, asset record creation, asset distribution to worldwide support teams, and lifecycle asset tracking for all of WBD's technology asset acquisitions (see terms)
  • This position may require guidance from asset management leads with seniority when processing engineered systems & complex production technology acquisitions
  • Ensure all assets are appropriately and accurately recorded in the asset management system and work with Finance & Operations to ensure the accuracy of the data in WBD's asset management system and procurement system
  • Responsible for processing & tracking, and auditing pending equipment repairs, product returns, loaned or demonstration products delivered to WBD, and asset transfers across the organization
  • Coordinate project staging and installation with WBD project managers, global support teams, vendors, and logistics providers for 80+ concurrent projects

Asset Lifecycle Management

  • Accountable for managing global inventory for capital surplus assets, operational spare assets, and consumable parts
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of the function of all assets in WBD's inventory is required to facilitate product substitutions due to the inability to acquire new products or cost avoidance opportunities
  • Maintain secure and organized storage areas across multiple sites in the US and ensure the accuracy of the inventory in both the capital surplus and operating parts
  • Performs the retirement and disposal of company assets in line with established WBD policies and procedures
  • Responsible for auditing compliance of established policies and procedures, system operations, enhancements, and data integrity.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with their requirements and expectations and adherence to process standards
  • Sets and monitor performance targets with defined KPI's

Key Process Area Ownership

  • Accountable for designing and maintain effective and efficient process to deliver quality outcomes as required within the organization.
  • Responsible for auditing compliance of established policies and procedures, system operations, enhancements, and data integrity.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with their requirements and expectations and adherence to process standards
  • Monitors and delegates service request within the KPA to other members of the asset management team
  • Addresses escalations for incidents and services request related to the KPA
  • Sets and monitor performance targets with defined KPI's

Qualifications & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (Engineering or IT-related major preferred)
  • 5+ years of IT Asset Management experience (IT & Production Hardware)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IT, broadcast, networking and entertainment media systems hardware
  • 5+ years of direct interaction with customers, vendors procurement services and logistics providers
  • 2+ years' experience with SAP, Ariba and ServiceNow
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, asset management systems, & procurement tools
  • Direct knowledge of IT asset disposal requirements and procedures
