Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Discovery is searching for a Sr. Compensation Ops Specialist to join the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role supports the annual compensation planning cycle administration for merit, bonus and equity for all WBD locations globally, covering a headcount of approximately 34,000. The ideal candidate is an experienced global compensation administration professional with a continuous improvement mindset and meticulous attention to detail, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging international environment.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Understand the current annual compensation process through knowledge transfer from multiple stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation process knowledge
• Execute timely data audits and validations, ensuring data is accurately updated in Workday
• Execute and validate data loads into Workday in support of the process, before, during and after the planning cycle
• Participate in pre-cycle tool testing activities.
• Partner with regional COE to provide user support during planning.
• Execute post-cycle audits and reconciliation of final Merit and Bonus data.
• Partner with the global payroll team to upload the merit and bonus data for accurate and timely payout to employees
• Maintain and administer comp programs activities
• Participate on ad hoc comp projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience...
• Experience: Minimum 5-6 years human resources/compensation administration with 4 years across the annual compensation process or related experience required, preferably from a global environment. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use confidential information appropriately.
• Education: Bachelor's in HR, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• Language Requirements: Must be fluent in English
• Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with HR and typical compensation cycle planning systems, particularly
Workday and Service Now. Strong skills required with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills a must.
• Relationship Management: Strong relationship skills. Experienced in building and maintaining effective collaborations. Recognized for reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness.
• Process Management: Skilled in process improvements and problem-solving, taking initiative to own work projects/tasks. Ability to manage ad hoc high-volume activities in a fast-paced environment independently.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills. Has strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly at all levels and in English. Must have flexible and adaptable attitude to cope with fast changing and complex environment
