Your New Role:
As a Senior Applied Scientist, Generative AI at one of the world's leading Media & Entertainment companies, you will drive innovation in content creation, personalization, and audience engagement through advanced Generative AI techniques. This role is an exciting opportunity to harness state-of-the-art AI technologies to transform how stories are crafted, delivered, and consumed.

You will work alongside a diverse, highly skilled team of AI scientists, engineers, and business leaders to develop novel solutions that amplify storytelling, optimize production workflows, and redefine audience experiences. From crafting AI-driven tools that assist content creators to deploying large-scale AI systems that personalize user journeys, your contributions will shape the future of entertainment.

1. Generative AI Model Development

  • Research, design, and develop advanced Generative AI models, including transformer-based architectures (GPT, BERT, etc.).


  • Create and fine-tune generative models for various applications, such as content creation, personalization, and audience engagement.


  • Explore multimodal AI models combining text, image, and video data for unique storytelling experiences.


  • Collaborate with data engineers to prepare large-scale datasets for training and fine-tuning AI models.


  • Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of generative models through experimentation and optimization.

2. Innovative Applications of Generative AI

  • Build prototypes to demonstrate the potential of Generative AI in content creation, virtual production, and marketing campaigns.


  • Drive the development of tools that enable creative teams to collaborate with AI systems for scriptwriting, editing, and asset generation.


  • Investigate opportunities to enhance viewer experience using AI-driven personalization and recommendation systems.


  • Identify emerging trends in Generative AI and evaluate their applicability to business needs.


  • Contribute to intellectual property development by filing patents and publishing research findings.

3. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnerships

  • Work closely with product teams to align AI capabilities with business objectives and user requirements.


  • Partner with engineering teams to deploy Generative AI models into production at scale.


  • Collaborate with research teams to translate cutting-edge findings into real-world applications.


  • Act as a technical advisor to creative teams, providing insights into how Generative AI can enhance workflows.


  • Build relationships with external research institutions and industry partners to stay at the forefront of AI innovation.

4. AI Governance, Ethics, and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure responsible use of Generative AI by implementing fairness, transparency, and bias-mitigation practices.


  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure high-quality outputs.


  • Maintain compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all AI projects.


  • Advocate for the ethical deployment of Generative AI in creative and business applications.


  • Regularly audit AI systems to identify and address risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.

5. Leadership and Mentorship

  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration.


  • Provide technical guidance to peers and stakeholders, ensuring best practices in AI development.


  • Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and industry events, showcasing our advancements in Generative AI.


  • Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives within the AI team and broader organization.


  • Contribute to strategic decision-making on AI priorities and investments.

Qualifications & Experiences:

Academic Qualifications:

  • Master's in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field from a reputable university.


  • Specialized courses or certifications in Generative AI, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing (NLP) are a plus.

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in AI research or applied AI, with significant exposure to generative AI, deep learning, and large language models.


  • Proven track record of successfully applying generative AI models (e.g., GANs, transformers, VAEs) to real-world problems in the Media & Entertainment, tech, or creative industries.


  • Experience in the end-to-end deployment of generative AI models, from research and development to testing and production.

  • Expertise in working with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).


  • Prior experience in a high-performance, large-scale data environment, with a focus on content generation, personalization, or media processing.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of generative AI techniques, such as GANs, Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), transformers (e.g., GPT, BERT), and reinforcement learning.


  • Hands-on experience in deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.


  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or other machine learning libraries.


  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and experience in deploying AI solutions in the cloud.


  • Strong background in data pipelines, model versioning, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to think critically and creatively to apply generative AI to solve real-world media and entertainment challenges.


  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.


  • Passion for AI, creative technologies, and innovation, with a desire to stay at the cutting edge of the field.
