Your New Role...
As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process for the UK and Ireland, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. You'll play a key role by supporting process improvements and acting as a subject matter expert for all payroll-related matters. This position requires a high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Lead the preparation, processing and reconciliation of UK and Ireland monthly payrolls and one bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with the WBD Payroll team in London.
- Act as escalation point for payroll-related queries from employees, managers and internal departments.
- Ensure all payroll processes comply with UK and Ireland legislation, company policy and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, recommending enhancements, and participating in payroll system updates and any processing improvement projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and People & Culture (P&C) teams to ensure ongoing payroll compliance and ensure alignment across teams.
- Manage year and processes including P60s and statutory reporting.
- Oversee preparation and submission of monthly statistics reports to Office of National Statistics and other external bodies.
Qualifications & Experience...
Essential:
- 3-5+ years of experience working in payroll, including to managing multiple high-volume payrolls.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and Ireland Payroll legislation, statutory reporting, pensions and Auto-Enrolment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken), with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Confident in handling complex queries and calculations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, formulas and lookups).
Desirable:
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Workday payroll systems.
- Previous involvement in payroll related projects or systems implementations.
Shift Timings:- 3PM to 11 PM IST
