Your New Role:

The ePMO - Enterprise Architecture & Strategy (EAS) team holds a key role in our organization and is looking to fill the Sr. Program Manager role based in Atlanta, GA. EAS is responsible for Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategic planning, Internal Consulting, and establishing consistent and measurable processes for work intake, execution, and data quality. As a central support leader for the Technology & Operations group, the Senior Program Manager reports directly to the VP of Major Programs & ePMO and is charged with the end-to-end management of cross-functional major initiatives, ensuring these programs align with organizational strategies and meet meticulously high standards.

This role requires managing global resources in a matrixed environment to accomplish the strategic goals of the Major Programs. The Senior Program Manager will coordinate closely with executive leaders across the Technology & Operations org, focusing on operational and delivery efficiency, risk mitigation, and team leadership to drive exceptional outcomes.

The Senior Program Manager will also engage deeply with core strategic initiatives within the Technology and Operations Group at Warner Bros. Discovery, facilitating the achievement of broader company objectives. This pivotal role demands a professional who is adept at building relationships across various levels of the organization and with external stakeholders, excelling in communication and clear articulation of program objectives and results. This is growing role and requires the successful candidate not only to manage current ongoing initiatives, but also to sell the team and business to increase presence across the wider WBD.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Spearhead the strategic execution of transformational and operational initiatives within Technology & Operations, collaborating with senior executive leadership, Business Change, and Transition Teams.
  • Oversee program execution for the Technology & Operations Major Programs office, ensuring alignment with Warner Bros. Discovery's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program strategies, plans, and timelines, reporting progress and adjusting as necessary to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage IT financial oversight across Technology execution programs, ensuring stringent control over expenditures in collaboration with all business units and FP&A teams.
  • Motivate and lead a small but set to grow global team of program management professionals, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, and accountability.
  • Ensure ethical standards and high levels of accountability are maintained throughout the program's lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Demonstrated leadership in complex, dynamic environments requiring coordination of multiple stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale, multi-million dollar programs, particularly in media and/or technology sectors.
  • Experience in global companies with both direct and matrixed team structures.
  • Strong grounding in product management, technological platforms, and systems to synergize business and technology units towards strategic objectives.
  • Proven track record of team leadership, data-driven management, and outcome-focused strategies.
  • Strategic risk management skills aligned with business priorities.
  • Financial acumen in managing substantial program budgets.
  • 5+ years in senior technology roles within large technology organizations.
  • Preferred Experience: Background in the media industry.
  • Preferred Certifications: PMI PfMP, PMI PgMP, PMI PMP, A-CSM, CSM, SAFe
