The Senior Production Network Engineer will be responsible for working with the operations and engineering teams around the strategic, tactical, and improvement of the global network platforms. The individual will be evaluating processes regularly to ensure expected outcomes are achieved in the most efficient way along with identifying service improvements and document those improvements. Help ensure standards and processes are followed.
The role will have a special focus on the design, implementation and support of the network requirements for our productions and our various production businesses. The TV productions will range from large sporting events to small TV productions with a focus on their individual needs.
Please note that the role will involve irregular working hours, including evenings and weekends, as well as traveling to support production needs.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Full understanding of specific production needs so that the correct implementation is carried out using network standards. This would include supporting live events - both on-location and remotely
- Work with the global network team to ensure all productions follow the correct standards by fully understanding and adhering to the team's network standards and procedures both in technical and functional areas
- Effectively support all DCI network infrastructure 24*7 by responding to and resolving all trouble tickets within the stipulated SLA time
- Clearly understand the root cause of all the network outages and take remediation steps to prevent the recurrence of the problem
- Ability to prioritize work based on business criticalities and also be flexible to work on ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager
- Maintain positive relationships with all user communities, peers and the management team
Qualifications, Experiences & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar
- Proven expertise in system administration within an enterprise network production environment
- Strong skills with network protocols, standards and policies
- Strong skills with at least 2 of these vendors: Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Cisco and Palo Alto
- Understanding of load balancing, remote access, DNS, DHCP and IPAM platforms
- Process oriented engineer with strong execution and follow-through skills
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong and consistent customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel
- Strong team member with self-motivation and desires to improve the infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Experience managing firewalls and security devices to ensure robust infrastructure protection.
- Media industry experience
- Experience supporting live TV productions

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
