Your New Role...
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Director of Retail Technology to lead the design, implementation, and management of large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects for WBD Global Tours & Retail Department. The successful candidate will oversee a team of solution architects, consultants, and developers, driving the delivery of high-quality ERP solutions within scope, budget, and timeline while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms (D365), supply chain management, and web e-commerce platforms, combined with proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex, tailor-made systems.
The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in shaping ERP implementation methodologies, sand fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth within the team. This position demands a hands-on leader with a track record of delivering transformative D365 ERP solutions across the entire supply chain technologies, e.g. finance, supply chain management, commerce, and e-commerce. This position also requires management of personnel for on-going top-level support and application management ensuring operational consistency and application reliability.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of solution architects, consultants, developers, and project managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Oversee recruitment, career development, and coaching initiatives to build a world-class D365 ERP delivery team.
- Define and implement D365 ERP implementation methodologies, ensuring consistency and excellence across projects.
Project Oversight:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Oversee budget management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for multi-million-dollar ERP initiatives.
- Prepare and execute go-live checklists, dry-run simulations, and post-implementation plans to ensure seamless transitions.
Architecture & Delivery
- Serve as the lead solution architect for complex D365 ERP implementations, designing tailored solutions and services.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including scoping, gap analysis, system setup, data migration, user training, and post-go-live support.
- Drive the delivery of Microsoft D365 ERP solutions and integrate with billing, supply chain, finance, and supporting systems.
- Oversee the design, development, and integration of e-commerce website product management systems within ERP frameworks, ensuring seamless functionality for online retail and customer-facing platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product catalogs, pricing structures, and inventory management processes for e-commerce solutions, aligning with business goals.
- Manage interfaces between ERP systems and e-commerce platforms, optimizing user experience, order fulfillment, and financial reconciliation.
Global On-going Top-Level Support:
- Provide strategic oversight and top-level support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 globally, ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability post-go-live.
- Coordinate with regional teams to address critical issues, implement enhancements, and manage updates for D365 deployments across multiple countries and industries.
- Act as the escalation point for complex D365 challenges, delivering expert guidance to maintain operational excellence and client satisfaction worldwide.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance ERP offerings and implementation strategies.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across ERP delivery practices. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve performance and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor software engineers and development teams in best practices.
- Develop technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and proof-of-concept solutions
Qualifications & Experience...
Experience:
- Extensive experience in ERP project management, solution architecture, and delivery, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics platforms (D365)
- Proven track record of leading large-scale ERP implementations for enterprise organizations in utilities, retail, manufacturing, or services.
- Extensive experience managing teams of 20+ professionals, including solution architects, consultants, and developers.
- Concurrent experience as a solution architect and project manager on complex, multi-phase ERP projects, including e-commerce integrations and D365 support.
- Demonstrated success client relationship management, and methodology development.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems (D365) and related modules (finance, billing, supply chain, warehouse management).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing utility-specific ERP solutions, e-commerce product management systems, and large-scale web platforms.
- Strong understanding of data migration, system integration, and interface development.
- Extensive experience providing on-going support and enhancements for D365 implementations on a global scale.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology, management, or a related field (preferred).
- Microsoft Certifications: Finance Solution Architect (e.g., MB-700, MB-300, MB-310) or equivalent (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a focus on delivering measurable business value.
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
