Your New Role...
The position will manage and co-ordinate retail & trade marketing activations, gathering Retail Business Development (RBD) information (licensees and external) and event management as appropriate. The role also includes the creation of retailer presentations, management reports and the compilation of RBD Germany updates. Further it includes full and professional administrative service to the Senior Category Manager.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Retail & Trade Marketing
- Manages the coordination and execution of retail and innovative trade marketing activations (on-/offline) for Brands and Franchises in close collaboration with local WB divisions. Further responsible for the operational execution through Purchase Order/Mailing/Order within budget and timeframe
- Work with the Retail Team and Category Managers to create retailer presentations that utilize trend vision, activation ideas, product and property interpretations, and retailer advertising/circular mock-ups used in RBD presentations. Liaise with the EMEA Team in London to gain access to the latest assets.
- Collate German retailers list of trade marketing, promotional tools and in-store requirements by territory where relevant, and corporate promotional calendars.
- Developing and maintain retail catalogues for franchises like DC, Classic Animation and Wizarding World.
- Compile RBD Germany updates regarding progress of launch initiatives across key German retailers. Liaison with local RBD contacts and category teams to ensure accuracy of data.
- Manages retailer sales data including: collection of retail sales information from retailers and/or licensees; reporting of product from all lines of business; identifying those products that are out-/under-performing expectation, determining trends by category and property performance.
- Organize retail roadshows and other retail-led events as appropriate, by liaising with category teams, licensees, creative functions, third party suppliers.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Commercial apprenticeship, Bachelor degree or similar education
- Trade marketing experience preferred
- Good level of experience in licensing, sales, marketing or retail essential preferred
- Experience of dealing with various levels of seniority internally and externally
- Strong project management skills
- Proven experience of working in a multi-cultural environment, and awareness of European cultural differences
- Work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Used to work with deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Understanding of Computer Graphic Programs: Photoshop, Adobe and Illustrator
- Excellent German in speaking, reading and writing
- Excellent English in speaking, reading and writing
