Your New Role...

This position will provide direct support to Senior Director of Remote Engineering and Operations. The Manager will assist in the daily coordination and planning of engineering strategies for all Sports' remote and MFP-based productions. The Manager of Remote Engineering and Operations will support all technical deployments, innovations, and initiatives across all sports properties.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Day to Day support of season long packages

  • Trouble shooting connection issues.
  • Networking solutions
  • Comms integration
  • Video support
  • Attending all Season show meetings and offering solutions for past issues and solving workflows for upcoming events.
  • Meeting with the team to go over show scope.
  • Addressing issues from TM reports

Vendor Consult.

  • discuss upcoming projects and work with vendors ensuring the correct equipment is ordered for our desired workflow.
  • schedule loaners and connect engineering with support on equipment when needed.

Design implementation and support of Tent Pole events.

  • Attend all production meetings to determine scope and scale.
  • Build and document workflows to provide crew and production guidelines.
  • Determine time frame for completion.
  • Meeting with the team to go over show scope.
  • Selecting correct personnel for each specific event

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • 5+ Years Broadcast engineering experience including some Remote engineering experience
  • BA or BS from 4 yr Institution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Autocad and/or Microsoft Visio
  • COMP TIA Network+ or similar network certification
  • Certified Engineering degree- Electrical, mechanical. Computer & networking certifications a plus
