The Job

Oversees the work of Specialists. Supervises the proper onboarding process for longform content. Work closely with Acquisition/ Legal areas based on strategy/programming plan, giving proper guidelines to Content Management area.

The Daily - Major Activities

• Provide results that are both cost efficient and reliable. In order to achieve this, the Manager has to periodically re-evaluate amount of specialists per task, and suggestchanging processes, have reliable metrics in order to asses efficiency and reliability clearly and lead the specialist through these continuous changes in a firm and empathic way;

• Ensure the timely administration of incoming content This is achieved by leading content onboarding specialists who guarantees the proper incoming of all longform and auxiliary content. This role works closely with distributors, vendors and operation areas, based on Strategy plan and Acquisition deals;

• Control the availability and the proper quality of all acquire content. Lead the team who ensures the correct availability of all incoming content from distributors and Original Productions. Based on deadlines proposed on rights, ensures proper quality is guaranteed, by leading the team that follows rejections and the proper onboarding process;

• Ensure the proper coordination of the reception and replacements process, accordingly with WBD parameters (rejections, replacements, missing content). This role provides feedback to business about onboarding operation processes. Liaise with Acquisition and Legal to ensure WBD requirements are met in terms of reception and quality expected based on rights. Organize and keep record of the content arrival to provide information for invoices and deal fulfillment;

• Onboarding of new distributors. This position will work closely with new distributors/production houses that provides content to WBD. This role will partner with acquisitions and MSC, along with upper management to Onboard new providers to deliver content to WBD. This person will keep Director and other WBD stakeholders informed on any challenges or delays in the Onboarding process.

The Essentials

• Experience in leading cross functional projects;

• Experience in negotiations with vendors/ Distributors;

• Experience in Media operations for at least 3 years;

• Degree or equivalent experience in - Television Studio Operation or Television Studio Production and Direction College Degree, Audio Visual Design College or Bachelor's Degree, Graphic Design College or Bachelor's Degree, Engineering Bachelor's Degree;

• Fluent in English speaking, writing, reading. Advanced level or higher.

The Nice to Haves

• Experience in Managing a team of coordinators / Specialists as a supervisor for 2 years;

• Experience in Working in a multinational corporation;

• Experience in other roles in broadcast (playout, transmission, graphics, postproduction, content management);

• Experience in other roles such as Programming or roles that implies working with vendors/ distributors.
