Your New Role...
As a Manager for the Design Managementteam of Max, you will drive the operational success for the visual execution of artwork on the streaming service as well as the production and execution of marketing campaigns promoting it. You will be accountable for ensuring the design and delivery of artwork assets promoting movies, series, and franchises from WBD's brands. You will define system workflows and manage knowledge sharing across a variety of stakeholder groups, including Concept + Design Studio, Originals Marketing, Merchandising, Media, Device Partners, Product Development, Product Management, Legal, and Marketing. You will also play a key role in project managing the design process across marketing verticals such as in-app, email/push, dotcom, brand/social, out-of-home, and paid media. You will innovate approaches to project management, artwork development, image quality, delivery tools, and vendor use to develop scalable solutions.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Oversee marketing campaign launch workflows from briefing to delivery across engagement channels including brand, performance media, programmatic advertising, dot-com, and in-app merchandising, with a specific focus on retention and engagement campaigns utilizing email marketing and push notification tactics that include lifecycle journeys, content engagement, and product feature updates.
- Understand how design resources are used to support each marketing channel in both technical (modules, templates, toolkits) and non-technical ways.
- Understand how WBD's internal DAM and artwork tools are used throughout the end-to-end creation and delivery process, and leverage AI automations efficiently where possible.
- Develop workflow systems for project managing the team's design needs and advocate for project management best practices.
- Be an expert in project management applications like Monday and Airtable, understanding how to setup and utilize dashboards, tickets, and automations, and mentor team members so they can become experts as well.
- Connect with sister brands (HBO, CNN, WB, DC, TNT, TBS, truTV, etc.), sports leagues (MLB, NHL, NBA, NASCAR, etc.) and global partners (Amazon, Apple, Roku, etc.) to understand requirements (asset specs, delivery methods) when promoting WBD content across channels.
- Establish cross-functional relationships and participate in monthly cross-functional meetings with internal creative teams, as well as attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings with various partners, including Photo Services, Marketing Ops, Concept + Design Studio, Global Creatives, Marketing A/V, Growth Strategy, and Marketing Strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience...
- 7+ years of advanced-level project management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Previous entertainment experience preferred.
- English proficient
- Strong understanding of marketing technologies and tools (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms).
- Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Google Suite, Box, Monday.com, Airtable, and Slack.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to break down data/information into meaningful findings and developing recommendations that lead to informed decision-making.
- A passion for operations and a thirst to do more with less, to work smarter not harder; a tools-first mentality, reserving human activity for where judgment and communication is critical.
- The ability to synthesize a lot of information to distill root cause and make informed decisions to mitigate risk to title launches.
- Familiarity with the Adobe creative suite.
- Strong aptitude for building effective relationships in a fast-paced, constantly changing and deadline driven environment.
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
