Your New Role:
The Lead, Product Manager - APM | SPM will play a critical role within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) function, focusing on the development, delivery, and optimization of Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Service Portfolio Management (SPM) capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.

Based in Atlanta, this role reports to the Manager, Product Management and will be part of a collaborative team of product managers. The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for aligning product visions, following roadmaps, and ensuring the successful implementation of APM and SPM solutions that support enterprise architecture, service delivery, and business capability planning. This role requires a strong product management background, deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, and a business analyst mindset to translate complex business needs into actionable product features.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Vision & Strategy Development
- Define and align the vendor's product vision and roadmap for APM and SPM capabilities within ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business stakeholder goals.
- Collaborate with Platform Architecture to integrate vendor roadmaps and ensure long-term scalability and sustainability.
- Champion the APM and SPM modules across the organization, promoting their value to enterprise architects, service owners, and business leaders.
Business Analysis & Demand Management
- Partner with the Enterprise Service Management Office (ESMO) to assess and prioritize front door demand related to APM and SPM.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate application rationalization, service optimization, and risk mitigation through effective portfolio management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between business units, ESMO, and Platform Engineering to ensure stakeholder needs are understood and addressed throughout the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to drive successful product outcomes and adoption.
Product Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Work closely with Platform Engineering to prioritize backlog items and support sprint planning activities.
- Ensure high-quality product releases by participating in testing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- 6+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field, with a focus on enterprise platforms.
- Proven experience managing ServiceNow APM and/or SPM products or similar portfolio management tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver complex enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Not Required but Preferred Experience:
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Portfolio Management Specialist, Certified System Administrator).
- ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
- Certification in Product Management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
- Experience working in a large, matrixed enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and service management best practices.
