The Job
The Engagement & Delivery Lead, Salesforce CoE manages day to day business of Center of Excellence (CoE) covering Portfolio, Resource, Compliance Management and develops, and maintains leading-edge Salesforce platform solutions tailored to our content creation and delivery business.

The role liaises with Salesforce org owners and Global Procurement Lead to optimize WBD license spend across Salesforce organizations, business units and Finance teams.

The individual has professional level skills in Salesforce platform modules, architecture and development combined with business acumen and a distinct consultant DNA to deliver solutions and value propositions for our various clients that align to our business strategies.

This is a senior level individual contributor role that must be able to think strategically and globally. This role will also require strong analytical skills and attention to detail. In addition, it requires analysis of complex work like issues that require in-depth study, and imagination and creativity to determine the correct course of action.

OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT/STRATEGY/ANALYTICS

License & portfolio Management (40%)

  • Manage efficient Salesforce org provisioning, license allocation and forecasting across orgs and Business units in partnership with Procurement, Finance and Application teams.
  • Perform all aspects of Portfolio Management on the existing salesforce application ecosystem (registration, documentation, representation, financial budgeting & planning)

Governance (20%)

  • Provide CoE strategic direction and governance, establishing and maintaining best practices for Salesforce client accounts.
  • Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the Salesforce practice, serving as an active contributor to the community's overall knowledge base and expertise (COP).
  • Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve program methodology excellence, standards, and best practices within the product and technology.
  • Evaluate and refine team processes to empower team members to deliver high-quality work.

Salesforce Consulting & Solution Architecture (40%)

  • Partner with clients and technical teams to discover, ideate, design, manage delivery and DevOps support of cutting-edge Enterprise Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners.
  • Work collaboratively across various groups within Warner Bros. Discovery.
  • Provide coaching and education on complex concepts, tools, methodologies to clients and internal technical teams.
  • Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to completing resolution through creative and analytical thinking.

The Essentials

  • BS, MS in either a Technical or Business discipline or a closely related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant IT experience with strong technical and broad functional expertise such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Force.com.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire (Certified Developer or Certified Advanced Administrator) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Products and License types and their applicability
  • Experience with Salesforce administration, customization and development of custom solutions, integrations and web services, APIs.
  • Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Front-end design, prototyping and development with Salesforce Lightning UI/ Web Components.
  • Proficient experience with system migrations
  • This is an individual contributor role, but leadership experience in an agile, cross-functional environment (e.g. experience in leading DevOps teams in designing, developing, and maintaining SF applications) is helpful.
  • Strong ability to create clear, detailed, concise documentation - architecture diagrams, presentations, and design documents.
  • Ability to set direction and motivate team members.

Please note that this is a HYBRID position, which requires reporting ONSITE to our Burbank campus 3 days per week. Relocation assistance has not been approved for this role.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
