Your New Role...
Reporting to the VP, Global Pricing & Analysis, the Director, EMEA Pricing and Packaging Strategy and Analysis will lead the development and execution of pricing and packaging strategies across a diverse and evolving set of EMEA streaming markets. This role is critical to supporting HBO Max's ambitious growth and financial targets in the region. The Director will be responsible for shaping market-specific pricing strategies, leading high-impact strategic initiatives, and serving as a key thought partner to senior stakeholders across the business. This position requires a highly analytical, strategic, and collaborative leader who can navigate complex partner ecosystems, regulatory environments, and diverse consumer behaviours to drive revenue and subscriber growth.
This role will support a broad and evolving portfolio of EMEA markets. Specific country assignments will be determined based on business needs, market launch timelines, and team capacity. The Director is expected to manage both mature and emerging markets, each with unique pricing, packaging, and regulatory considerations.

Your Role Accountabilities...
- Develop business cases for EMEA Pricing and Packaging initiatives with the goal of optimizing subscriber growth, revenue, and long-term enterprise value across a diverse and expanding set of markets.
- Collaborate with local and regional teams to gather inputs, lead analyses, and drive decision-making on pricing and packaging strategies for both existing and new market launches, including high-priority territories.
- Lead strategic pricing initiatives, including competitive pricing assessments, innovative distribution assessments, and alternative monetization models.
- Partner with Data Analytics and Finance to model and evaluate the subscriber and P&L impacts of pricing and packaging decisions, ensuring alignment with corporate growth targets.
- Support cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Regional Leadership) by providing timely, data-driven pricing recommendations and communicating key assumptions and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
- Drive the development of regional pricing frameworks that reflect local market dynamics-such as ARPU sensitivity, churn behaviour, and regulatory constraints-while aligning with global strategy.
- Enhance operational efficiency by improving turnaround time and accuracy of pricing analyses, strengthening local data quality, and supporting continuous model enhancements.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Streaming and International teams to ensure pricing decisions are well-integrated with broader business initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Significant experience in pricing strategy, business analysis, investment banking, finance, or management consulting, preferably within the media, technology, or direct-to-consumer subscription industries
- Proven leadership in developing and executing pricing and packaging strategies across multiple international markets, ideally within EMEA.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to build and interpret complex models and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, through clear communication of data-driven insights and strategic trade-offs.
- Deep understanding of subscription customer economics, ARPU optimization, churn dynamics, and monetization levers in a subscription-based business.
- Experience managing or mentoring teams, with a track record of fostering collaboration and high performance across cross-functional groups.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, balancing long-term strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational needs.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
