Desktop Support Technician

Rocksteady Studios is looking to hire a Desktop Support Technician to join the IT team on a fixed term basis. We are looking for someone with good IT knowledge who is ready for the challenge of working as part of a team in a world class games development studio.

This is not a typical support desk role as the team works in a highly technical environment often helping developers solve complex issues. You'll need to have a deep interest in the technologies surrounding game development and a passion for working within a small team on an exciting
project.

While the studio works in a hybrid model, the nature of this role means it will be based full time on-site at the studio.

Responsibilities:

• Deployment and upgrade of desktop PCs
• Timely resolution of IT issues reported by staff
• Administration of user accounts, desktops, development consoles and other systems
• Ensuring the asset management system is kept up to date
• Other tasks as may be required by the needs of the team and the studio

Requirements:

• IT support experience
• Knowledge of Windows 11 and MacOS
• Experience with Desktop PC hardware
• Demonstratable communication skills and an excellent approach to customer service

Bonus Points:

• Experience in the games industry
• Previous experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
