Your New Role...

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator, Livestreams to support the daily operations and execution of our live and breaking news programming on the streaming platform.
This role will be integral to ensuring the accurate, timely, and engaging presentation of live news feeds, alerts, and curated packages for a global digital audience. Working in close collaboration with the newsroom, control rooms, linear programming, and digital Owned & Operated (O&O) platforms, the Streaming Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, execution, and monitoring of news content, including exclusive live events and recap packaging.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Live & Breaking News Support
- Monitor and manage incoming live feeds, including international and domestic line feeds, and direct them to appropriate streaming channels.
- Collaborate with newsroom and control room teams to ensure real-time alignment with editorial priorities and breaking news workflows.
- Oversee the streaming presentation of live breaking events, including the deployment of on-air graphics, lower-thirds, and breaking alerts in coordination with digital O&O programming when necessary or relevant.
- Ensure synchronization and editorial alignment across streaming and linear broadcasts, adjusting stream presentation for platform-specific needs.
Platform Merchandising & Programming
- Schedule and update the featured news content rails and carousels on the streaming homepage.
- Support recap content programming, working with editorial teams to schedule timely post-event highlights and curated news packages.
- Track, schedule, and surface exclusive live content that is unique to the streaming product, ensuring effective placement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a point of contact between Global News, Linear Programming, and Digital Programming to align live news experiences across platforms.
- Partner with metadata, content operations, and digital production teams to ensure assets, descriptions, and imagery are accurate and platform-optimized.
- Liaise with Product and Data teams to report bugs and optimize workflows for breaking news delivery.

- Use content management systems (CMS) and other tools to execute updates and troubleshoot in real time.
- Monitor platform performance and alert appropriate teams to bugs, outages, or high-impact issues during major news events.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and documenting process enhancements to improve speed, accuracy, and user experience.
Your Qualifications & Experience...
- Experience: 1-3 years in a newsroom, live production, digital media, or streaming environment.
- Editorial Acumen: Strong understanding of breaking news dynamics and editorial standards.
- Operational Skills:
- Experience with CMS platforms and digital publishing tools.
- Ability to manage real-time updates and troubleshoot under deadline pressure.
- Familiarity with control room operations and/or live video workflows.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience collaborating across editorial, technical, and operational teams.
- Consumer Focus: A deep understanding of digital audiences and a commitment to delivering high-quality, platform-native news experiences.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during major news events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with streaming platforms, linear/digital simulcasts, or OTT services.
- Prior work with newsrooms, media control rooms, or digital publishing teams.
- Experience in managing content across multiple platforms in a live news environment.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $51,106.00 - $94,910.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
