Your New Role...

The Projects Team is the glue for CSSU creative development and production - holding everyone accountable to the overarching project goal. The projects group leads teams by driving their focus where it's required in a fast-paced environment. They are the main point of contact for our internal and external partners and clients and are the people to go to when an update is needed on where a project is and where it needs to be. They will listen to the needs of partners, clients and the CSSU team and help drive improvements in how we work together. Finally, they will drive the project to completion and delivery on-time.

The Design Associate Project Manager role works with the Manager in overseeing the production of all pre-produced graphics for TNT Sports. This position is responsible for working with partners to understand project needs, building, and adhering to timelines, facilitating creative brainstorms and discussions, booking resources, obtaining approvals, communicating necessary changes, delivering final creative all while keeping everyone touching the project informed. In addition to handling day-to-day project execution, the Associate Project Manager role is also responsible for some people/project oversight, team planning and oversight of larger projects and initiatives.

Role Accountabilities...

  • Project ownership
    • Assist creative production process for all TNT Sports on-air creative requests including for NHL, MLB, NCAA March Madness, Big 12 Football and Basketball, Big East Basketball, College Football Playoffs, US Soccer, FIFA Club World Cup, NASCAR, Unrivaled, Savanah Bananas, and Roland Garros, and more.
    • Manage projects from start-to-end by defining project scope, developing detailed project plans and milestones, managing schedules, leading communication, providing status updates and delivering final assets.
    • Liaison between various groups touching a project including creative, multimedia, production, social, production management, programming, design, business teams, marketing, sales and sponsorship, league, legal, talent services and Bleacher Report.
    • Main contact for producers/designers to communicate the daily business/project status, as well as the monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project deliverables to ensure project deadlines are on target.
    • Manage designer schedule for individual projects and assign projects based on availability and timelines.
    • Create, communicate, and adhere to production timelines
    • Manage the process of approvals and feedback as well as feedback to Management.
    • Manage folders and projects in Frame.IO and ftrack
    • Create and maintain trello cards
    • QC of all design materials for accuracy
    • Deliver final creative
    • Liaison with Production on any late deliveries or changes to previously delivered creative.
    • Maintain QT Archive for owned projects
    • Update meeting notes/agendas and send recaps
    • Understanding of Adobe Products to facilitate cohesion between designers
    • Operate, code and manage the company wide logo website
  • Freelance/coordinator manager (if applicable)
    • Oversees the Project Coordinator's projects to maintain a full overview of all projects.
    • Manage and provide guidance and direction to coordinator in day-to-day responsibilities as determined per workload.
    • Responsible for approving monitoring Coordinator's hours in time & labor and PTO requests etc.
  • Project manager oversight of an area of the business
    • Main Design PM point of contact for various groups across the business, including creative, production, social, production management, programming, business teams, marketing, sales and sponsorship, league, legal, talent services and Bleacher Report.
    • Assist and/or lead long range design planning
      • Including working with production, production management, marketing, and sales to determine future needs
      • Bring creative groups together to brainstorm needs
      • Handle all needed approvals and communication of final creative
    • Determine prioritization across projects for linear designers.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • 5+ years operational, production, project management experience
  • Ability to oversee and train other team members on day-to-day projects
  • Strong organizational, communication and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and ability to prioritize on the fly
  • Flexibility to work unconventional hours and travel some.
  • Position in full-time and based in Atlanta.
