Zadania:

  • koordynacja procesów analitycznych w newsroomie, obejmująca:

    • organizowanie przepływu informacji między zespołem analitycznym a redakcyjnym
    • zapewnienie, że dane i insighty są dostępne i zrozumiałe dla dziennikarzy, wydawców i redaktorów
  • współpraca z redakcją i wsparcie decyzyjne newsroomu:

    • bieżące wsparcie newsroomu w analizie performance'u produktu w oparciu o narzędzia analityczne (wewnętrzne oraz Google Search Console, Google Trends, monitoring social mediów, itp.)
    • analiza działań bieżących i strategicznych konkurencji
    • ułatwianie zrozumienia metryk i rekomendacji (tłumaczenie "języka danych" na potrzeby redakcji)
    • udział w planowaniu treści opartych na danych
  • współtworzenie jak najlepiej dopasowanych do potrzeb redakcji dashboardów i raportów
  • wsparcie zespołu analitycznego pod kątem dbałości o jakość danych, analiza i wyjaśnianie odchyleń
  • edukacja i rozwój kompetencji redakcji w zakresie rozumienia, wykorzystywania i podejmowania decyzji opartych o dane, w tym:
  • szkolenia z obsługi narzędzi analitycznych (dashboardy, wskaźniki)
  • tworzenie poradników i FAQ-ów dotyczących pomiaru, wskaźników czy case'ów
  • budowanie świadomości o wartości danych w codziennej pracy redakcyjnej

Wymagane umiejętności:

  • znajomość narzędzi analitycznych (Google Analytics, GemiusPrism) i wizualizacji danych (Power BI, Tableau)
  • umiejętność analizy i interpretacji danych, syntezy dużej ilości informacji i wyciągania wniosków biznesowych
  • komunikatywność i umiejętność współpracy z różnymi działami
  • mile widziane doświadczenie dziennikarskie (np. dziennikarze w trakcie lub po zmianie ścieżki kariery na analityka danych)
  • angielski B1
  • gotowość do pracy stacjonarnej

ENG:

Responsibilities:

Coordination of analytical processes in the newsroom, including:

  • Organizing the flow of information between the analytics and editorial teams
  • Ensuring that data and insights are accessible and understandable for journalists, editors, and publishers

Collaboration with the editorial team and decision-making support for the newsroom:

  • Ongoing support for the newsroom in analyzing product performance using analytical tools (internal tools, Google Search Console, Google Trends, social media monitoring, etc.)
  • Analysis of current and strategic activities of competitors
  • Facilitating the understanding of metrics and recommendations (translating the "language of data" for editorial needs)
  • Participating in planning data-driven content
  • Co-creating dashboards and reports tailored to the editorial team's needs
  • Supporting the analytics team in ensuring data quality, analyzing and explaining discrepancies

Education and development of editorial competencies in understanding, using, and making data-driven decisions, including:

  • Training on the use of analytical tools (dashboards, metrics)
  • Creating guides and FAQs on measurement, metrics, and case studies
  • Building awareness of the value of data in everyday editorial work

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of analytical tools (Google Analytics, GemiusPrism) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, synthesize large amounts of information, and draw business conclusions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Journalism experience is a plus (e.g., journalists transitioning to a data analyst career)
  • English at B1 level
  • Willingness to work onsite

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
