Your New Role...
The AdSales Partnerships Specialist GSE (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg) at HBO Max is responsible for driving advertising revenue and market development for GSE. Reporting to the Director of Ad-Supported Services EMEA, this role manages the day-to-day relationship with the external sales representative/agency in the country, ensures alignment with internal teams, and contributes to the execution of the regional ad sales strategy.

This role directly contributes to country-level performance, market representation, and cross-functional coordination.
Your Role accountabilities...
AdSales & Agency Management
- Manage the relationship with the local sales rep and sales agency to ensure delivery of revenue targets and market growth.
- Support agency sales efforts with internal resources including marketing materials, product insights, forecast and performance analytics.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, pacing, and KPIs.
Market Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to the development and execution of the country-specific advertising strategy in alignment with regional goals.
- Provide market insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams to help them prioritise and develop ad products.
- Identify growth opportunities and challenges in the local market, proposing actionable solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance on budget tracking, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Liaise with the Product team to ensure partner templates, toolkits are aligned for GSE needs.
- Collaborate with internal Sales Enablement and Marketing teams to develop localized sales materials and agency presentations.
Market Representation
- Participate in industry events, agency meetings, and external communications to promote the brand and its advertising capabilities.
- Support B2B social media initiatives to promote the digital ad-supported services - HBO Max.
Qualifications and Experience...
- Minumum 3 years of experience in digital advertising sales, media partnerships, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing external sales partners and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital ad products, programmatic advertising, and media KPIs.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent Powerpoint skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in video streaming, entertainment media, or digital publishing.
- Familiarity with ad tech platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
