What you'll do...

Key Responsibilities & Leadership Qualities

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Teaches, trains, and actively listens to associates.
    • Tours stores to provide feedback and guidance (Tour-to-Teach).
    • Communicates and collaborates across all associate levels.
    • Leads change efforts and implements business solutions.
  • Customer Service Excellence:

    • Models and enforces the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
    • Manages customer service initiatives and community outreach.
    • Resolves customer needs, complaints, and issues.
    • Drives process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
  • Financial & Sales Performance:

    • Reviews and evaluates P&L statements.
    • Manages budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
    • Oversees merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
    • Develops action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales/profit goals.
  • Associate Supervision & Development:

    • Hires, trains, mentors, and assigns duties to associates.
    • Sets clear expectations and provides recognition.
    • Promotes diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
    • Recruits and develops talent to meet staffing and growth needs.
  • Operational Coordination:

    • Builds relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Supports business plans and initiatives.
    • Sets and communicates goals, builds accountability, and measures progress.
    • Identifies improvement opportunities and adapts to change.
  • Compliance & Ethics:

    • Ensures adherence to company policies, mission, values, and ethics.
    • Implements action plans and supports the Open Door Policy.
    • Provides direction on ethical business practices.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00 Plus Differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's
supervisory experience.
