Staff Product Manager - CRM

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager, who will work with our cross-functional team in marketing technology organization, and cross-functional teams across Walmart, to enable us to more efficiently execute on initiatives that are business critical .

The Staff Product Manager of CRM - Marketing is a highly visible and impactful product leadership role. CRM marketing product helps deliver personalized emails, push notifications and in-app messages for Walmart's customers. As the torchbearer for understanding the technical capabilities being developed across the customer organization, you'll influence millions of Walmart customers in making their product decisions for both Walmart's owned-and-operated and offsite marketing efforts. Reporting to the Director of Product , you'll lead your business and engineering partners in researching, planning, executing and measuring the impact of CRM that you are enabling via this role.

Our Marketing team has flexibility on location, for most of our openings, you can live within driving distance to one of our hubs: Bentonville, AR, Hoboken, NJ, San Bruno, CA, or Sunnyvale, CA. We're moving toward 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • Deep understanding of product management as a practice and experience with running product scrums with engineers and data scientists
  • Ex perience working with AI products and delivering customer solutions leveraging AI.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess impact of various initiatives using marketing experimentation capabilities.
  • Prior experience with email , push and in-app marketing and personalization and prior wins with demonstrable success around business goals.
  • Prior experience with execut ing and deliver ing results in a highly matrixed organization via customer focus, business impact and prioritization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 4 + years' experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions. MBA preferred.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Develops and champions a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a ll CRM products and personalization models in support of corporate goals and objectives by using customer and market research, customer and user feedback, customer usage, and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements; and presenting and clearly articulating product strategy to company leadership.
  • Drives the product discovery process for large complex, and/or ambiguous projects by collaborating with the business, User Experience, and Engineering teams during discovery to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features; specifying, prioritizing, and communicating high level and detailed product specifications


  • Supports product implementation and deployment for large, complex, and ambiguous projects by engaging with Engineering and Project Management during implementation to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions; working closely with Marketing and the business to launch products and ensure their completion; coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance testing was successful; and defining, tracking and improving key product metrics.
  • You actively drive and contribute to resource planning to ensure program success and drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Skilled at diplomacy and aligning stakeholders with competing priorities, including senior leaders.
  • Ability to manage complex business problems in terms of people, processes, and technology to enable teams and deliver best-in-class products.
  • Able to exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects, and products realistic and attainable within a given timeline.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
