Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Threat Analysis and Dynamic Defense:
Requires knowledge of:
Types of threats or malware; Patterns of common malware characteristics; Mechanism of malware; Various file formats of malicious threat types; Programming languages used to create malware; Types and usage of static, dynamic, and behavioral analysis tools; Industry developments and trends in threat analysis and defense; New and emerging techniques in threat analysis.
To verify cyber threat analysis outcomes and reports. Recommends proactive steps to combat and mitigate malicious code, threats, and attacks. Modifies existing techniques or develops new ways to block malicious code and cyber attacks. Conducts in-depth examinations of malicious threats to understand threat behaviors, capabilities, intent, and interactions with the environment. Actively drives initiatives to anticipate the evolution of cyber threats and attacks in the operating environment.

Architecture Acumen :
Requires knowledge of:
Architectural principles; Systems and environment behavior; Architectural Styles, Patterns and plans; Architectural standards; Non-functional System performance parameters; Technology Strategy.
To assist in decomposing the product architecture into multiple components and modules and define architectural specifications for each module. Create/Apply the right architectural pattern across the module as indicated in the architectural plan to obtain the right result. Define the architecture blueprint for the various components within a product/solution. Analyze system performance impacting the complete product for non-functional requirements like reliability, operability, performance efficiency and security.
Infrastructure Maintenance :
Requires knowledge of:
Infrastructure maintenance tools and methodologies; Infrastructure maintenance plans and schedule; Infrastructure performance metrics.
To perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes. Escalate any issue that occurs in the backup media. Audit desktops for compliance with IT policies. Conduct regular database integrity checks to ensure minimal data loss.
Functional Strategy Planning :
Requires knowledge of:
Strategy frameworks, key decisions, and process approaches.; Strategy and financial planning processes (for example, AOP, LRP). Basic macroeconomic measures and effects. Fundamentals of the domestic and global economy; Walmart products and services and the markets in which Walmart operates. Industry structures and Walmart's industry position; Walmart customers and competitors. Walmart's relationships with industry regulators and other key stakeholders.
To describe the planning process and planning cycle used in assigned area. Performs analyses that support the strategic planning process. Defines and understands the concepts of short-term and long-term planning.
Code Development and Testing :
Requires knowledge of:
Coding languages like SQL, Java, C++, Python and others; Testing methods such as static, dynamic, software composition analysis, manual penetration testing and others; Business, domain understanding.
To write code to develop the required solution and application features by using the recommended programming language and leveraging business, technical, and data requirements. Test the code using the recommended testing approach.
Cyber Incident Management :
Requires knowledge of:
Cyber incident detection and reporting protocols; Types of cyber incidents; Types of data breaches; Categorization guidelines for cyber incidents; Industry standards and best practices in incident management; Key components of an incident management playbook; Criteria and requirements of a cyber incident response team; Cyber incident mitigation strategies; Data breach mitigation strategies
To review, prioritize, and escalate cyber incidents. Escalates alerts to relevant stakeholder groups following cyber incidents. Performs first responder troubleshooting on cyber-related, data-related, or security incidents according to pre-determined procedures. Analyzes incident reports, log files, and affected systems to identify threats and the root causes of cyber incidents. Performs cyber incident triage to assess the severity of cyber incidents and security implications; Implements approved processes or technologies to mitigate future cyber incidents.
Cyber Risk Management :
Requires knowledge of:
Cyber risk assessment and management techniques; Security risks, threats and vulnerabilities; Possible treatments of security risks, threats and vulnerabilities; Evolving security landscape and emerging cyber security threats; Assessment of potential business risks from security gaps.
To contribute towards development of cyber risk assessment and/or management techniques to identify security gaps and weaknesses in the business. Designs cyber risk assessments by consolidating insights from the business and various functions. Identifies cyber security risks, threats and vulnerabilities, and their impact on the organization. Identifies possible treatments for cyber risks, threats and vulnerabilities identified. Identifies and propose implementation of endorsed mitigation measures to address security gaps.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
