Job Description

As a Specialist, Building controls, you will be responsible for ensuring customer and associate safety and comfort, while minimizing service costs, for complex problems by conducting diagnostic techniques; providing proactive solutions to problems; applying advanced programming methods; implementing solutions; and following up to ensure effectiveness of solutions. You will also be performing special or unique programming projects to building controls systems by adapting or changing the building controls strategies, identifying, and responding to trends with alarms, defrosts, and work orders, and identifying and responding to manufacturer recalls.

  • Programming daylight harvesting and ensuring sustainability initiatives and energy reductions are achieved based on programming changes.
  • Collaborating with teams in building performance and controls by using and sharing resources, information, and tools

  • Providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.
  • Developing, communicating, and implementing processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Analyzing and applying information from multiple sources and monitoring progress and results.
  • Identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
  • Participating in teams in building performance and controls by using and sharing resources, information, and tools.
  • Completing work assignments and priorities in Building Performance and Controls by using policies, data, and resources.

  • You can identify and respond to trends with alarms, defrosts, and work orders and respond to manufacturer recalls.

Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills. Tech savvy with the aptitude to quickly learn and apply new software skills. Ability to work with limited supervision. Previous contact center experience. Ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.

Required Qualifications: 0-1 years of experience using MS Office and 0-1 years of HVAC experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00


*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
