As a Software Engineer III , you'll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You'll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done.

About the Team:
As a member of the Supply Chain Tech - SHORE (Shared Outbound Record) team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing code change required for special business requirements. SHORE generates Invoices and ASN (Advance Ship Notification) for any freight going from DC to Store/DC. You'll independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues. As a member of the team, you'll be able to say that you work for the world's largest retailer and contribute to the development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it.
What you'll do:
- Develop n-tier applications using Microservices, Java/J2EE, and related technologies.
- Participate in medium-scale projects, working with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with a small group of engineers, including offshore associates, on engineering projects. Provide guidance and review solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and work in an agile development environment with rapid turnaround times.
- Collaborate with various teams to achieve results and promote positive team dynamics.
What you'll bring:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience in software development in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in Advanced Java and strong algorithmic skills.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring, JPA, JUnit, REST services, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with UI technologies like HTML 5, JavaScript, React, and Bootstrap.
- Skills in messaging platforms like Kafka.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Familiarity with databases like DB2, MS SQL, and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure), git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
- Scripting skills in Shell or Bash

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
