Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III with strong expertise in Next.js (frontend) and Java (backend) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, high-performance applications and will contribute to both frontend and backend development. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical leadership, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Next.js for frontend and Java for backend services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Drive improvements in application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
• Solid hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices (testing, monitoring, code reviews, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with micro-services architecture.
• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise or e-commerce systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
