About the GSOC
The Walmart GSOC centralizes and streamlines security and safety risk management across our multinational corporation. It serves as the central hub for monitoring, managing, and coordinating all global security and other supporting operations, ensuring a cohesive and effective response. To accomplish this, the GSOC leverages advanced technology and skilled personnel to provide real-time situational awareness and incident management across various global security teams and peripheral company departments.
What you'll do...
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that advance GSOC capabilities. Guide project groups and indirect reports to deliver results without direct line management.
- Pilot, assess, and implement security technology: run proofs-of-concept (POCs), vendor evaluations, establish success criteria, and lead production rollouts; coordinate change management and stakeholder readiness (training, SOPs, UAT).
- Partner with Walmart Global Tech: as a technical security practitioner, you'll contribute to solution design, integrations, and systems interoperability.
- Support GSOC floor operations: submit/track facilities tickets (HVAC, electrical), coordinate vendor access and work, and manage AV equipment service and uptime so the watch floor remains mission-ready.
- Oversee technology lifecycle management for enterprise safety, crisis response technology, and incident management technology in coordination with partners, aligning with enterprise standards, SLAs, and vendor SOWs.
- Drive project governance: define milestones, metrics, and acceptance criteria; report status to leadership; coordinate with Procurement and Legal on SOWs and vendor deliverables.
What you'll bring
- Proven project leadership across security, safety, or infrastructure programs driving outcomes through influence, setting clear scope, and managing change across multiple teams.
- Hands-on technical proficiency with enterprise security and safety technologies and SaaS: implementing tools, integrating platforms, and collaborating with vendors and technology partners.
- Problem Solving: the capability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Operational expertise: demonstrated experience in GSOC environments, vendor coordination, AV/video wall maintenance, facilities workflows, and operational readiness checklists.
- Structured delivery skills: project management fundamentals, POCs, runbooks, knowledge management, deployment plans, steady-state ownership, audit schedules, and one-pager proposals.
- Collaboration at scale: trusted partner to Global Technology, facilities, security operations, and procurement. Ability to translate between business needs and technical designs.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
