Senior Manager, Account Management

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager, to help strategically and holistically lead the Account Management department, helping to build reputation and trust within the walls of the Walmart Creative Studio.

This position will balance owning key Director-level Partner and internal relationships and demonstrating through ownership and leadership, how to effectively, and positively service our partners, campaigns and projects.

Must be able to handle heavy project volume, multiple stakeholders, and multiple agency partners at any one time. Must be conversant in assessing creative briefs and communicating client strategy to the creative team. The ideal candidate will successfully help lead the Creative Account Management team while navigating the demands of business, creative/brand, and technology to help elevate the quality and scale of Walmart creative.

You will make an impact by:

  • Building and maintaining key Partner relationships at the Director level and above, consistently demonstrating and advocating for WCS's role as a business, strategic and creative partner.
  • Leading by Example. Demonstrating outstanding account management style and inspiring our team of Creative Account Managers to do their best.
  • Providing daily mentoring and coaching to the Account Management team
  • Effectively leads internal training and upskilling across the Creative Account Management team and the studio more widely.
  • Driving accountability of Partner's business and marketing objectives to inform and drive integrated campaign solutions that generate measurable results.
  • Demonstrates a refined creative judgment and a passion for EFFECTIVE break-through ideas; sets an exciting vision for the account's creative potential and strives to achieve it.
  • Expert in 360 campaign development, including but not limited to: video, photo, digital, social and owned channel production and execution.
  • Expertly orchestrates multiple teams and workstreams both internally and externally to ensure holistic and consistent outcomes across all campaign outputs.

  • You proactively take on responsibilities outside of your day-to-day job.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or other relevant field.
  • 12-15 years-experience working in an ad or in-house agency, most recently as a Senior Account Director or Group Account Director.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience working in retail environment (or other high-volume industry)
  • Experience in project management tools including Smartsheet & Workfront.
  • Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques.
  • Understanding of account management fundamentals, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and allocate resources.

Los Angeles, California US-10988:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
