Position Summary...
As the Senior Director of People Communications - Internal and Editorial, you will lead the strategy and execution of all communications focused on Walmart's global workforce. This role is responsible for developing and driving integrated communication plans that engage, inform, and inspire associates at every level. You will oversee our associate communications strategy and planning for our people communications.

The Walmart Workforce Communications team is dedicated to shaping and sharing the company's story as a leading employer of more than 2.1 million associates around the globe. Focused on engaging with workforce-focused media and our millions of associates, this team crafts compelling narratives that highlight the unique culture, opportunities, and experiences of working at Walmart.

- Drive the editorial and planning efforts for people communications.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field and 6 years' experience in journalism, communications, or relevant area OR 8 years' experience in journalism, communications, or relevant area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
