Our Marketing team has flexibility on location, you can live within driving distance to one of our hubs: Bentonville, AR, Hoboken, NJ, San Bruno, CA, Sunnyvale, CA or Los Angeles, CA. We're moving toward 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility.

What You'll Do:

As Manager, Reporting and Publishing, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to lead our day-to-day reporting from executive dashboards to social listening. You will also have publishing across all our channels, upholding our brand safety standards. Leading daily calendaring sessions and publishing is a key element to our daily operations within brand social.

Digital Marketing Strategy: Understands and supports the development of Walmart's digital media strategy. Uses large and complex data sets; leverages a combination of tools, and sophisticated analysis techniques. Develops insights to suggest improvements to channel strategy that will differentiate Walmart in the marketplace. Participates in product development roadmap sessions with product development teams.

(ALL CHANNELS): Lead day to day reporting for the brand social team and execute quick data pulls, analysis, and creation of effective presentations.

(ALL CHANNELS): Mastering of social calendaring/publishing tools to support and lead our brand social team through our calendaring process, this individual will evaluate posting cadence and timing by channel to create the most effective post for our channels. This person will also be proficient in tagging our posts to various campaigns and business priorities to ensure complex data is collected and refined by the tool.

(Channel specific) Performance Social and Display: Reviews performance reports and dashboards; evaluates performance to determine changes to optimization approach. Identifies advertising and display areas for potential improvement and reports on channel performance gaps. Identifies retargeting opportunities and creates re-targeting plans based on portfolio analysis.

(Channel specific) Organic Search: Continuously generates ideas and approaches to improve organic search results (including estimating keyword data and meta structure development) for small-to-medium sized campaigns. Demonstrates technical expertise through completing complex SEO optimization activities, recommending changes to site architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Evaluates organic search performance on an ongoing basis, identifies appropriate levers, determines key methodologies and reports to gain critical insight on SEO program performance. Continues to build and evolve knowledge of organic search trends and best practices.

  • Becoming the subject matter expert and the "face" of brand social reporting.
  • Becoming the owner from data pulls to utilizing our reporting tools to supply the team with impactful and insightful reports.

You'll sweep us off our feet if:

  • Proven track record of comfort around systems and data.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
  • Expert in Microsoft excel
  • Deep experience in leading project work and execution
  • Experience working cross-functionally with different teams
  • Creative storytelling to enhance post-performance recaps
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and trends

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-3 years' experience managing social media campaigns and social media management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of general social media analytics and KPIs
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to lead projects and be a self-starter
  • Outstanding project management skills and ability to show ownership, appropriately prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate effectively and adapt in a fast-past, ever-evolving environment.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00



















Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
