What is the primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
In End User Computing (EUC), we build extensible solutions to simplify and automate the employees' digital experience. Our platform Workspace ONE allows IT to deliver a digital workspace that includes the devices and apps of the business's choice integrating access control, application management and multi-platform endpoint management without sacrificing security or IT management capabilities. As a part of the Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) team, you will be responsible for building the next generation of software applications on our new modernized platform and expanding our service capabilities. You will be responsible for key areas of the platform that detect and enforce endpoint compliance while helping build brand new business capabilities such as Vulnerability Management.

About the role: You will lead a growing engineering team through design, development, testing and delivery of software applications and services using a service-oriented architecture. You will champion a culture of high ownership, provide technical leadership and partner closely with other engineering teams and product management. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a healthy sense of urgency, continually improving engineering processes and architecture. You will be expected to solve complex problems, establish a high engineering-bar and value execution to drive highly impactful outcomes. You impact and influence is expected to go beyond just the engineering aspects of the product, extending into driving a successful business.
Qualification: We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with a combined industry experience of at least 10 years. You have:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience managing software engineers and preferably having been a manager of managers
• At least 6 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in an object-oriented UEM programming language such as Java or C#
• At least 4 years of experience architecting and designing enterprise software or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems and distributed systems (high-availability, scalability, performance, security)
• Experience in delivering end-to-end SaaS applications and highly scalable software products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor software engineers, maintain architectural vision and product quality.
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
• Hands on experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery methods and practices

The broader team working on the platform is cross cultural and is spread across a few locations such as USA, India, and Bulgaria.
Where is this role located?
This role is fully remote in the US, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable, or the location agreed upon with your hiring manager. You will be expected to live within a few time zones from your team as defined by your business.

For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $139,000 - $331,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position. EUC, a division of Broadcom, offers comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: medical, dental, and vision plans, company paid holidays, paid sick leave, and vacation time.
