The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this great opportunity?

For the next 12 months, we are focused on introducing our new brand (but well-known industry leader) to the market as EUC divests from Broadcom and becomes a standalone company. Our employees are excited for this future, as are our customers and partners. As one of our Global Events Managers, you'll be joining a new and growing team of experiential marketers, defining, and executing how we bring the new company's brand to life. You'll manage site selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management of the assigned programs, and provide cost analysis for individual events. You'll create communications to employees for these programs.

To be successful, you'll need to:

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, sales, product and industry marketing, finance, procurement, and executive leadership to align event strategies with business objectives.
  • Act as primary point of contact for external vendors, nurturing relationships to enhance event success, determine timelines and delivery dates.
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends and best practices to innovate and improve event experiences.
  • Develop recommended approach around 3rd party events and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Offer insights and recommendations to stakeholders across content, format, and experiences.
  • Align with regions on priorities and targets; ensure programs are meeting KPIs and metrics that deliver on value.
  • Establish the complete bill of materials and package the event kit for our flagship programs and drive the project plan to ensure on-time execution.
  • Work with Global Brand team on updates to the executive brand and instructive guide for global marketing and agencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience of large-scale event planning and management.
  • Experience within a corporate environment is mandatory.
  • Minimum undergraduate degree required. CMP or other industry certification a plus.
  • High degree of organizational skills (planning, coordinating, tracking) and comfort working on time-sensitive projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing strategic events that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
