Job Description
The VP, Global Remitters Cluster Leader, will be a member of the Global Clients Leadership Team, with direct sales and relationship responsibility across the segment of global remittance clients. Specifically, this sales and business development general management role is accountable for the comprehensive performance of four of Visa’s largest global money movers/remitters.
The role is not a typical account management role - it is charged with aggressively driving step changes in business growth for these accounts through expansion into modern card issuing, digital wallets, and crypto offerings as well as competitive differentiation and cost reduction through Visa’s money movement infrastructure and capabilities. As a member of the Global Client Leadership Team, this VP role will lead a cluster of high performing account teams and resources across Visa’s global footprint of 5 operating regions.
The role reports to the SVP, Global Head of the Global Client Segment and has responsibility for delivering differentiated performance for the segment of Visa’s largest global remitters in tight collaboration with the Visa Direct Enterprise Team.

Specific Responsibilities
Proven Relationship and Business Development
- Manage and orchestrate all client business relationships at a global, regional, and market level to ensure that Visa is the partner of choice for growing share, expanding sales, and delivering enterprise net revenue.
- Drive superior engagement with client executives while also managing the day-to-day account delivery of multi-regional accounts. This requires the ability to influence a wide variety of internal business partners to ensure that Visa stakeholders are aligned at all points of client interaction to deliver targeted support, strategic roadmaps, and targets.
- Provide leadership and focus to drive results as “One Visa” given complex buyer decision-making across multiple markets as well as at a global headquarters.
- Lead the development of account plans and drive global and in-market engagements in collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver on these plans and meet annual global targets for sales.
- Lead strategic transformation initiatives with clients, including digital onboarding, real-time payment enablement, co-development of new money movement solutions tailored to remitter needs, and building out card issuing programs for surrounding the end customer fund within the clients’ ecosystems.
Comprehensive and Deep Payments Ecosystem Knowledge
- Fluency across all payment and money movement types, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the global payments ecosystem is a requirement. From detailed articulation of the applied differences in ISO 8085 vs ISO 20022 standards, to knowing the global landscape of digital wallets, A2A schemes, and uses cases for stablecoins are foundational for this role in order to understand and drive business growth of this remitter portfolio.
- Expertise and general digital fluency across Visa’s platforms for wallets, directories, money movement, crypto/stablecoin, AI standards, and VAS is critical.
Financial and Deal Acumen
- Proven ability to direct deal analytics and collaborate with the Global Deals team to structure and navigate global deals, including presentation of deal strategy and economics to global and regional deal review and GPIC teams throughout the deal pipeline.
- Manage delivery of contracts ensuring contractual targets and obligations are met or exceeded, including a proactive, growth-oriented approach to contract extensions, renewals, and amendments.
- Develop annual operating plan and expense budgets for the segment, then managing to that plan with discipline throughout the year.
Team Success Orientation – Enable and Champion a Collective Success Model
- Responsible for managing a team of experienced account executives aligned with the Global Client Team’s primary focus of serving account executives and their clients. The success of this role requires a servant leader mindset whose focus is helping the account executives grow Visa’s business across consumer and commercial payments, value added services, and money movement solutions through differentiated service, authentic client partnership, and a north star of client obsession.
- Manage and activate multi-regional account teams, both direct and matrix, orchestrating the best of Visa’s global resources to win business across a range of capabilities and geographies.
- Build a culture of positivity, encouraging break-through thinking and ambition, where collective success is enabled and celebrated.
Travel Requirements
- This role involves substantial domestic and international travel, anticipated to be approximately 35% of working time.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 15 - 20 years of experience in either banking / financial services sector or financial technology sector experience with significant amount of time dedicated to strong B2B sales performance.
• Demonstrated expertise in money movement and remittance ecosystems, including push payments, RTP, Visa Direct, and cross-border settlement frameworks. Familiarity with regulatory environments impacting remitters globally (e.g., AML, KYC, FX controls).
• A track record of establishing authentic long-term, trust-based relationships with senior-level executives at large, complex organizations.
• Known for collaborative and humble leadership with a passion for enabling others success. Naturally role models Visa’s Leadership Principles, creating an environment where people perform at the highest levels in their career.
• Significant experience leading, aligning, and motivating matrixed and geographically diverse teams to deliver unified client impact.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 35% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 258,100.00 to 403,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
