What a Sales Intern does at Visa

The role of Sales Intern will report directly to the Sales Director and be based at the Phnom Penh office. The role consists of business development responsibilities and a position summary of the role is as follows.

  • Provide broad-based administrative support to the Sales Director as required to meet organizational business goals and objectives.
  • Manage all operational aspects related to client management.
  • Support ad-hoc projects including but not limited to supporting the sales team in the implementation of the annual account plan, partnership contract obligation, delivery of projects etc.
  • Handle confidential and critical tasks that require working knowledge of departmental and company policies and practices.
  • Ensure all decision making is guided by policies, procedures, and the business plan.

Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week based on business needs.

Qualifications

What you will need

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, high energy, enjoys learning new things and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Penultimate year undergraduate students who are available to work full-time for 10-12 weeks between June 2024 and August 2024 or November 2024 and February 2025.
  • Legal authorization to work in Cambodia - Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.
  • Pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Communication, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize work with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently and able to work collaboratively with a variety of team members including cross-geographies teams at all levels.
  • A creative problem solver who anticipates the needs of the team.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and business matters, particularly in any written communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High learning agility
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
