Team Description
Visa Direct works on designing, managing, and growing products and solutions for moving money using Visa's networks e.g. Visa Direct Cards/Wallets or Accounts, Currency Cloud and B2B Connect. These products and services are typically aimed at commercial entities, including banks, fintechs, remitters, marketplaces, and other organizations. These capabilities support collections, multi-currency accounts, disbursements of P2P and B2B funds. Visa Direct spans across different dimensions of money movement including cross-border transactions, disbursements, money transfers, and more. The Visa Direct team is the growth engine for Visa, by driving business growth at 35%+ p.a. over the next 3-5+ years.
The Visa Direct Partnerships team are seeking a Summer Intern to support our efforts with our partners enabling Visa Direct (i.e., Acquirers, Processors, ISVs, Program Managers) to identify, define, and initiate execution of real-time payment solutions and commercial initiatives. They will focus on evolving market, client, and consumer needs to drive significant future market growth for Visa.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Create a go-to-market strategy to that entails (non-exhaustive) opportunity sizing, market and competitive analysis, value propositions and partner growth recommendations.
Support the team’s engagement with European Acquirers, PSPs, Processors, ISVs, Program Managers to design solutions that accelerate adoption of Visa Direct
Work with new and existing clients and partners to drive enablement, and develop and implement strategies for optimization and acceleration, including focus on high-potential client targets, use cases, and verticals.
Lead strategic engagements with partners critical to the success of Visa Direct and support strategic launches.

On track to have completed your MBA by late 2026 / early 2027 (please make the month/year of completion clear on your CV)
Fast and curious learner
Basics understanding of the payments ecosystem or desire to learn
Good interpersonal skills
Communication & Language: very good communication (written and verbal) capabilities in English and any other European language
Master tools such as PowerPoint, excel to support all activities
