Role Overview: As the Global Head of Commercial Card, you will drive Visa’s commercial card business (e.g., travel & entertainment cards, purchasing cards), including P&L, strategy, thought leadership, and expanding use cases including working capital. You will represent Visa as an ambassador across the commercial card and commercial payments ecosystem, engaging with other industry leaders.  You will play a pivotal role in designing and executing strategic business plans to grow the business. This position requires a strategic, experienced leader with deep industry knowledge across commercial payments, and a proven track record of success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Commercial Card P&L, making strategic decisions for growth.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Visa across the industry, building relationships with government bodies and international organizations, and representing Visa in industry conferences and public engagements.
  • Develop and execute a cohesive global commercial card (travel & entertainment card, purchasing card) strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Drive the sales pipeline, ensuring aggressive achievement of sales and revenue targets, in partnership with regional teams.
  • Enhance the tools to support generalist sellers, including training, benchmarking, and best practices.
  • Collaborate across business units to create client-centric solutions.
  • Lead and manage global and regional resources in a matrixed environment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD)
• 18+ years in sales or product leadership, targeting large and middle market companies.
• Extensive commercial payments and commercial card experience.
• Exceptional leadership and business acumen.
• Proven track record of success in P&L management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to execute plans.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 210,200 to 386,300 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
