  • Lead the support of the Visa TPF/VIP Authorization system, the Linux/token system and Visa OVN system in a multi-datacenter and multi-processing environment.
  • Responsible to lead the effort for second level problem determination and recovery of the VIP Applications, Linux/Token, and the OVN Operating Systems, services, and customer related issues.
  • Work with the OVN application and support team on the distributed operating system for transaction authorization.
  • Lead the effort to support and maintain the ADIN VIPLARM/Token sync system.
  • Coordinate the weekly VIP load schedule, including providing guidance on weekly implementation meetings and creation of the load schedule for all of Operations and Development.
  • Participate in attending Network Processing project or sizing/estimate meetings representing VIP second level support, while assisting in hourly forecasting tasks.
  • Work closely with service partners such as VIP Operations, Global Network Operations, Production Services and Global Support teams to ensure all VIP related services are operational and not causing member impact.
  • Work closely with Account Management, Application Support and the Regions when dealing with Member/Application issues.
  • Lead ongoing/proactive analysis of TPF/VIP and distributed authorization systems and applications to detect potential problems.
  • Provide preventive correction solutions and work with Engineering/Development groups to implement long-term corrective measures.
  • Create and coordinate the weekly TPF/VIP load implementations.
  • Lead the efforts for Project support, estimates and forecasting for projects and requirements for VIP Coverage second level support function.
  • Handle client support and client configuration problem calls coming into the Coverage ACD phone system.
  • Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

  • Employer will accept ten years of experience in the job offered or in a systems analyst or systems engineer-related occupation.

 

  • TPF or VIP Authorization systems.
  • ADMIN Linux/Token system.
  • OVN system in a multi data center and multi-processing environment .
  • IBM Assembler.
  • C++ programming.
  • Working with VM or MVS systems, including JCL.

WORKSITE:      Highlands Ranch, CO                     

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $125,457.00 USD to $179,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
