Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:

 

• Collect, analyze and report on metrics to demonstrate progress of projects and programs against their planned goals and deliverables
• Present portfolio data in tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Monitor project and program compliance and work with PMO team members to produce compliance artifacts
• Extract useful business insights from the data and build deliverables that clearly communicate the findings and recommendations
• Assist in scoping and crafting analytic projects and solutions, bringing in and testing innovative ideas for out-of-box solutions
• Find opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business users
• Continuously identify and implement improvements that benefit projects, programs and teams
• Establish relationships within and outside the department
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
• Embrace collaboration while promoting an environment of diversity and inclusion
• Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Management, related field.

Required Certification:

1. Six sigma green belt;

2. Java Certification; and

3. C/C++

Position requires experience in the following skills:

• Excel Macros
• Python;
• Shell scripts
• SQL

Worksite: Foster City, CA

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $188,885.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
